serious mushroom on a beautiful day

This remarkable mushroom rose up in the past 24 hours or so, just outside the Flyfishing Cottage (where I say here summertimes). Another gorgeous day here: warm but not hot, blue sky and sunny, cool night tonight. The sort of night when you hope you are assigned CQ and will build a big fire to keep warm. But that's far ahead now. For the morning: lots of outdoor activities in the fields.
