MAC devo for Lakota

"MAC devo" is a regular activity here during recent summers. A member of the MAC staff comes to a village to talk to the kids about the MAC program - about what it means to be at a camp where "mainstreaming" children and young adults with disabilities is a regular feature of daily life. Often there's a discussion about the common use of the "R"-word, and why it's wrong and hurtful. Lakota had a little trouble scheduling a MAC devo in the evenings (when devo - or devotion - is usually done) so they decided to do it after lunch today. So here's a photo of the Lakota girls just before Olivia F., VC of STEP, came by to talk with them.
