boys dance unshyly
Maybe it's just a truism of this generation of children, or maybe I'm seeing and sensing something remarkable, but I notice that here boys dance (solo! in front of 90 people!) without reticence. It's surely a Frost Valley thing and not just a Glee thing. There's so much support. There's almost no way to fail. Whatever you do, however well or not-competently you do it, you will receive cheers and hugs and waves of finger-snapping goodness. And then, when a young guy you don't expect has the chops, performs with real charm and confidence, it becomes a real moment. Such a moment happened at last night's Forest/Susky Challenge Night. I simply said: "One camper from each team [a boy cabin paired with a girl cabin] should come up and be prepared to dance spontaneously to whatever song we randomly play." And here (click on video) is one fun result.
